This earth sheltered facility houses the Co-op’s administrative offices, shop for truck maintenance, and storage facilities. Extensive programming provided the design options required to successfully interface the complex interaction between truck repair, parking, and utility storage requirements with public access and administrative office activities.
This project has received commendation from the Rural Electrification Administration for the facility’s design and extensive passive solar design features.
