The program called for completely demolishing the interior finishes in the existing science wing and re-purposing the spaces in the entire wing to develop a modern biology and physics facility with special use classrooms adjacent to the lab facilities with interconnecting doors.
The program also called for a new 3,620 sf addition to house the chemistry program. The entire wing has its own mechanical system with an exhaust system designed to evacuate the space after a science experiment.
